Well I for one am lost in admiration how you manage to achieve this photo diary. I definitely think you must submit it to the BBC for inclusion on 'Holiday' Lawrence Llewellyn-Bowen eat your heart out! Sue R
Hi Julian It is totally brilliant to be able to read about your experiences in India. Thank you for keeping us all up to date in such an entertaining way. Will be in touch on the email re Agency contracts. Very best wishes Caroline (Mountain) x

Jules, I really enjoy reading about your travels and looking at the photos. Did you know in a recent poll Michael Palin was voted the most popular person to go on holiday with? He has serious competition now. Sue R
You're very kind Sue. Maybe I should charge a subscription to read this stuff!
Fascinating, you aught to write a book or be on telly or both!! Jonathan (Leach)
dad. you cant compete with Palin until you come up with something as good as the life of brian. I know you are a look-a-like but its not the same. only joking have fun. Rob.
Hi dad just read your bit about the catfish. They are anything but vegetarian and grow to over 200lbs so I wouldnt swim in there if I were you. The stories about the eating dogs and small children are true!!! Rob.
Rob, I've actually brought the Life of Brian DVD with me to maintain my sanity! I'll keep out of the water...
Hello Julian, Chris Zielinski pointed me to your excellent blog site which is all the more interesting as I am an old Chennai-ite (when it was still called Madras)now settled in Kerala. Your observations on daily life which is overlooked or rather unseen by us natives makes for a good eye opener. Contact me at (elfkap@md3.vsnl.net.in) and do visit Kerala before you return from your sabbatical. Minoo Verghese ps. In truth, I don't remember you (age related memory loss? - 38 years is a real long time!) but was a genuine card carrying member of the Weredefakarwi tribe in Vienna and the AIS circa 1968.
I have loved reading your diary. A real insight into a different way of life. Keep it up but stay out of that sun! Lynn Kyle
Hi Julian Thanks for sharing your Tamil Nadu with us. Hope you and Pam have a good last two weeks there. Linda H
