How to add pictures to the forum

I need to do this on a separate page. If I try to explain the code in the forum, it tries to turn it into a picture.

Make sure you have the picture stored somewhere on your own computer. JPG or GIF format, less than 1Mbyte.
Make sure it is no more than 650 pixels wide to keep it all on screen.
Type your message in the forum. When you want to insert the image, first press return to go on to a new line.
Type \image{Descriptive text} No spaces outside the curly brackets and be sure to start with the backslash. "Descriptive text" is any text which will show up if the image isn't loaded.
When finished, click the "Preview/Post message" button at the bottom. After a bit your message will be previewed near the top of the next screen.
Where your image should be, there will be a placeholder saying "Your image here" or something like that. If everything else looks OK, click the "Post this message" button.
You should now see a dialogue box which asks you to browse to where your picture is. Do that, and when the path to the picture is shown in the browse box, click the "Upload" button.

The message should now be posted, the image uploaded to the server, and it will then be displayed where the place holder was.
