The coloured circles show the cases which occurred in each week of the outbreak in Gloucestershire. This shows that in the early period the disease arising fairly widely across the Forest of Dean and Stroud District. In the later period most cases were in the west of the Forest of Dean and in the north of Tewkesbury District.
