This map is the most theoretical but gives the best overview of the intensity of infection in the county.
The number of cases per square kilometer has been estimated by counting the number of cases occurring with 5 km of each square and dividing this number by the area of the 5 kilometer circle. This gives a value to each individual square kilometer, which in itself means nothing, as there was not a case in every square kilometer. However it does show the concentration of cases and highlights hot points, where most cases were occurring. These are the red coloured regions of the county.
